What a cut list optimizer does

A cut list optimizer tries thousands of ways to fit your parts on the sheet and keeps the one that wastes the least. Laying it out by hand usually costs one or two extra sheets per job, and plywood is not cheap.

Verneer accounts for blade kerf, edge trim, grain direction and edge banding thickness. You get the exact number of sheets, a drawing of each one and a list of usable offcuts.

For table saws, panel saws, track saws and CNC

For saws the plan uses guillotine cuts, edge to edge, in the right order with the fence setting. For CNC routers the parts can be nested freely to save even more material.

Choose what matters on each job: fewest sheets, balanced or fewest cuts. Verneer shows the difference and tells you when a plan already uses the fewest sheets possible.
